WAIT/ Hold On/ Sit Tight

Scripture- Psalm 27:14

I encourage you to read the whole psalm 27- It is a psalm to encourage us to wait for God’s help- in any and all circumstances.

Waiting-

-is controlled preparation.

- Staying in place or pausing until something

happens.

- hoping for and looking for.

- confident expectation in Jesus.

Let's be real- no one likes waiting. But, pauses are meant to strengthen our resolve, change our view, transform us. Waiting is about preparing you for God’s blessings and to be able to be good stewards over those blessings.

You know the song- “He’s an on time God yes He is…. Ohhh ohhh- on time God- yes He is…. He may not come when you want Him, but He’ll be there right on time… He’s an on time God, yes He is!”

In our Lord- there is nothing given too early or delayed.

Keep in mind these points-

- Not your timeline- it’s His

- Do not miss the blessings in the waiting

- Need to surrender in this season

- Release your expectations and pre-conceived

notions

- Remain faithful in the season

- Wait with your whole heart

- Waiting will test your faith, helps you exercise

patience

- We should not be the same when the wait is

over

- Delay is not denial

- Remain faithful in your waiting- until God’s

appointed time
