"The Gospel is Good News"

Guest Preacher- Minister Carla Brown, Christ Church, Montclair, NJ

Scripture- Romans 8:1-5, 35-39

There is something in the Bible for every situation and every person. The Gospel brings hope, peace, acceptance, transformation and truth! It was written by men- breathed into life by God.
We need this in our world today. We are nothing without God.
Because He is- we are.

God's Spirit speaks to us and we need to keep in step with His Spirit.

And because he loves us, we are not condemned---we are not stuck----we do not lose hope--- and nothing can separate us from His love!

What a mighty God we serve!!
Be blessed!!

Birthing God's Promises

Happy Mother's Day!!!
SCRIPTURE- 2 PETER 1:4A/ PSALMS 119:49
Preacher- Minister Adrianne Robinson, Assoc Minister FBC, Belmar, NJ
Promises can be functional or emotional. The most crucial element of a promise is credibility. Since the time of Adam and Eve, we have the promises of God. You know what- God never breaks a promise! And just as mothers give care and attention to their children- who are our future promises--- we need to give care and attention to the promises God makes to us.
When we stay rooted in God’s Word- it helps us to hold fast to the promises. Not to lose hope--- but to have faith. Your Bible is God’s promissory note to you….Every promise God makes- points us to Jesus.
When we birth God’s promises- it releases what can and will happen! As our children are precious to us as moms- so are we precious to the Lord.
You feeling unseen—birth out He notices you…
You feel forgotten---birth out He remembers you….
You see your enemies all around you- birth out that table he prepares in their presence….
You feel isolated---birth out He draws near…..
You feel sick in your body- birth out He’s a healer…
You see those weapons forming- birth out knowing that they won’t prosper…..
Who's ready to give birth!!!!

"Your Issachar Moment"

Scripture- 1 Chronicles 12:32

Preacher- Rev Edward G. Robinson, III, Assoc Pastor, FBC, Belmar, NJ

The tribe and descendants of Issachar were exceptional men. They had discernment which gave them spiritual insight and played a part in their practical leadership.

They understood the times and they knew the assignment.

Can you imagine how good it would be for you if you got in alignment with God? We need to be discerning so we can be spiritually alert and stay connected to the heart of God.

Issachar moments are about serving God and doing ministry- not just in the 4 walls of the church building, but in the streets!

Be about God's business. Let Him speak to you. What will be your "Issachar moment"?
