"Will You be There for Me When Things go Right"?

Scripture- Luke 15:18-20- focus verse 20**

Preacher- Rev. Ed G. Robinson, III, Assoc Pastor FBC, Belmar, NJ
You know folks will- usually-be there for you in trying times. But what about when things are going well?
There are seasons of celebration, but bad news spreads faster than good news! And- if we're honest- some of us love DRAMA!
Some people you only hear from when there is a tragedy, someone dies or anything bad going on. But what about the good news??
Relationships are strengthened in bad and good times. Are you happy for others when they are? Do you celebrate their milestones and accomplishments? Do we share/ text when things go well? Do we want to celebrate with others?
What about with God? Do we talk with him when our world is great or only when we are in enduring times?
Real love doesn't say "why them and not me".....if God did it for them, He'll do it for you!
Know this- God is watching how you react to other's successes and blessings. This will expose your spiritual condition. While you wait for your breakthrough- will you cheer those who are getting theirs?
Jesus is with us in the valley moments and He is with us on those mountaintop experiences. "Will You be There for Me When Things go Right"?

"I Can't Stop"

Scripture- Acts 4: 18-20

Preacher- Rev. Dr. James A. Jackson, Senior Pastor, FBC, Belmar, NJ

Sometimes quitting seems a lot easier than to keep going. But when you know God- His power- you will walk in purpose.

God will strengthen you above your natural limits. When you walk with God, you will change and He will direct your steps.

Some of us stop pre-maturely. Don't stop- look up! Think about the goodness of Jesus and all He has done for you!

We can't stop believing....can't stop serving....can't stop forgiving....can't stop loving......can't stop praising!!! Hallelujah!!!

Happy Anniversary!!

 "The Mantle of Ministry"

Scripture- 2 Kings 2:9-14

Guest Preacher- Rev. Dr. Kenneth McGhee, Pastor Calvary Baptist Church, Ed Bank, NJ

When a Pastor preaches-it's meant to loose the chains and clear the fog. To bring God's message home.....

If you are led to lead, not everyone can go with you! You may have to cry sometimes... you will need 1:1 time with God.

You may even feel isolated. But beloved, the anointing will isolate before it elevates! The price of transition is preparation. There is work to do and the lives of the flock is in it's leader hands- the Pastor.

Happy 10th Pastoral Anniversary Pastor Rev. Dr. James A. Jackson Senior Pastor FBC, Belmar, NJ
