"At His Table"
Scripture- Matthew 9:10-11

During this month and season we do not forget those who labored before us- who sat at the table- to fight for the rights for all people. Our black churches were at the table to declare that people will be treated fairly.
We remember our forefathers and foremothers who brought Jesus and justice in the same space.
Jesus sat at the table with all kinds of people- sinners, undesirables and the like. The Pharisees were being judgmental thinking they knew best and who should have a seat at the table.
We are invited to Jesus' table. At His table-
- we are encouraged
- we are built up
- given knowledge about God
- we are given a safe space
- DEI is celebrated
- we get healing
- we have the victory!!
Do not give up the fight and stay at His table!
