Do y’all remember the famous line from the movie RUSH HOUR- when a frustrated Chris Tucker told Jackie Chan-“do you understand the words that are coming out of my mouth”..

I want to hear GOD. We all need to hear and recognize God’s voice---- listen and do! Throughout the pages of Scripture, there’s a word that gets repeated: “Hear," or a related word, "listen." The Bible tells us we should be quick to listen. It also involves active obedience and an effort to understand.

Hearing the Word of God should lead to a transformed life marked by fruitfulness.

Hearing, listening and obeying will lead to life transformation.

Hearing from God will help us understand our today and move us forward with a clear vision for the future.

Hearing from God will renew our minds.

Hearing from God will keep us from being deceived, tricked and being led astray.

Hearing from God can satisfy our spiritual hunger, thirst and will produce a good crop in good soil. We will be a producer of good fruit.

Only God’s voice- above all other voices- has the power to settle us, grow us and guide us.
