UPGRADE

Scripture: Ephesians 4:22-24

This life is on a constant move towards improvement and upgrades.  We all desire the best in our lives. New Year 2025—-new you—- we all start thinking about how we can make this year better than last year. How can this year be about better? Phrase this year- “thrive in 2025”. A desire to be new and improved. A constant move towards being and making everything better.

Let’s look at our text—-

• “Put off”- this essentially means abandoning and rejecting your old ways
• “Old self”- 2024 is gone and we are in a new year….. last year was and should be different for you than what you want to become this year
• “Put on”- actively embrace and live out a new life in Christ- through thoughts, speech, and actions
• “New Self”- your new transformed, upgraded identity we receive thru Jesus our Savior

God wants you upgraded so you can be of greater influence in this world. This is a year where you’re going to say “GOD DID THAT!”

You are going to experience miracles and breakthroughs that will go beyond what you experienced last year— God is getting you ready for that upgrade!!
