Scripture- Exodus 32:1
Preacher- Minister Edward G. Robinson III
The word “wait” is a verb, meaning- “stay where one is until
something happens”.
We all have a hard time waiting and do not like delays. Why? Because
humans crave certainty. We need and want
things to happen quickly.
The text shows us how impatient the Israelites were-
wondering what happened to Moses. People
allow their impatience and anger to cloud their judgement.
Waiting reminds us we are not in control and is an act of
faith in the One who knows all. There is
a blessing in the waiting. It may not be
today. It may not be tomorrow. It may not be next year- but the time will
come.
1.- Trust in the Lord
2.- Rely on His promises
3.- Wait for His answers
Wait beloved…… wait!
