"FOOTPRINTS"

Scripture- Isaiah 46:3-4

Preacher- Minister Adrianne Robinson

I dedicate this sermon to my Dad- Andrew Jackson**

The definition of the word footprint is

“The impression left by a foot or shoe on the ground or a surface.” Another definition- “an impact or marked impression”.  Folks are searching for mythical creatures, others are searching for that “higher power”. Looking for proof of a “Devine being” …….

There are researchers out here looking for the existence of God and they want evidence.  They want proof!  Well I say— LOOK AROUND!! –OPEN YOUR EYES!!!!- The very creation we live in is God’s footprint.  Everything has a purpose and there is a rhythm in everything.

We may wonder at times if God has abandoned us…we may wonder if God is hearing us…. If He sees us…….but always remember the works of the Lord!  He is the same yesterday…He is the same today….and He will be the same tomorrow and forever!! —-look over your life…. God has done great things for you…. Each day He wakes you up…. He is giving you an opportunity to do great things for Him….

The lesson——the moral of the poem "Footprints on the Sand"—- is that during any point of your life, you are never to feel alone.  You are never alone.  We may not see his physical footprints…. but we can trace His steps.

Andrew Jackson- his favorite poem was “Footprints in the Sand”. He left a footprint before he left this earth. Many people commented about our Dad and there was one common theme about his character- “Andy.. was a good man”!

He left footprints in his 3 daughters….leadership——his quiet strength and the desire to make sure everyone is ok…

May those who find our footprints find that we have been faithful—— a good person—— forgiving——loving and Christlike!
