HOSANNA- Worship Everyday!!

Scripture: Matthew 21:6-9 (NKJV)

Today is Palm Sunday--- a day of celebration, joy and praise! 

This scripture text tells us as Jesus rode into the town, large crowds gathered and lifted up praises! 

Matthew shows us that the people joyfully praised God in loud voices for the miracles they had seen.  If we jump to the book of Luke- this same day- Jesus said to the Pharisees that “if man keeps quiet- the stones will give praise…..”

Worship is not meant to remain silent. Worshipping God is one of the most central and basic aspects of our lives as believers.

Being a believer is “not just a Sunday thing”. 

• God is not a Sunday God…. He is available every day!!
• We do not reflect on His goodness only on Sundays
• The Word says… “let all that I am praise the Lord…”

Worship is not a 20-minute period on the program during a church service… it should be a lifestyle!!

Raise your voice and shout HOSANNA!!!

Lean on God!!!!

Have you felt stuck? The Israelites were stuck after they left Egypt. An 11 day journey turned into 40 years of wandering in the desert!

What is stopping you from getting you to your promised land?

Our own fears, habits and desire to please others can keep us wandering.

The unknown is scary. But we can trust God to take us thru the wilderness. We can say "NO" to people and not be people-pleasers. We need to accept change and change ourselves so we can reach our goals.

5 ways to help us to be who God intended us to be-

1. Obedience to God
2. Alignment with God
3. Cry out to God
4. Have faith
5. Submit to God

Our struggles are opportunities for God to show out in our lives! Know you are resilient--because God is with you.
