"HIs Grace and Mercy"

Scripture- 2 Cor 12:7-10

Preacher- Rev. Edward G. Robinson III, Assoc Pastor, FBC

We have now entered a new month and in this month we celebrate black ancestry. This year marks the 100th anniversary of Black History Month. And no matter your background, we can all look at our lives and know it is only thru God's grace and mercy we have come this far.

Today, despite the continued racism, hardships and discrimination- God will display His strength. God loves us so much that even in our "thorny" days, He will make a way.

God's grace and mercy is sufficient to carry us onto victory everyday! Grace- getting the blessing we do not deserve. Mercy- not getting the punishment we do deserve!

"Not How You Start..."

Scripture- Galatians 2:20

Preacher: Minister Adrianne Robinson
Did you ever wonder if God could really use someone like you?
Do you feel those things you’ve done in your past should keep you bitter, ashamed or guilty? Are you worth God’s time and attention?
Are you holding onto past mess? But-you are not defined by your past. Thanks be to God, we are not who we used to be.
Jesus did not choose His disciples based on their resume….He didn’t choose scholars or dignitaries. Jesus wants you to know that ministry- His assignments- don’t begin with perfection or having an esteemed past. God can take things that look dead in our life and cause new growth to appear.
No matter your past- if you seek God and accept Jesus- you are useful to Him. I don’t care about your past- you are not out of God’s reach.
He has an assignment for you so you can finish well! Everyday is a new opportunity! You will shine bright no matter your starting point. Your finish line is “WELL DONE….”

"Victory is Already Secured"

Scripture- Deuteronomy 20:4

Preacher- Rev. Dr. James A. Jackson, Jr, Senior Pastor FBC
We have moments when our battles feel overwhelming. These wars do not always announce themselves and can occur in our quiet times.
Despite these moments, God already knows the outcome! And that is good news!!! We just need to "...be still and know..." He is God.
Jesus went to the cross and thru that we have victory over sin, death and the grave. Keep your head up because God has your back. You have to trust and believe and not get side-tracked.
No matter what comes against you- God's got you! The enemy will try to distract, get you to doubt, but hold on---we serve a God who promised He will never leave us nor forsake us!
Say it out loud- "I GOT THE VICTORY"!!!! Beloved- your victory is already secured.
